Quick Fix for an Old Rocker
Here's a down and dirty update for an old family piece.
Don't we all have one of these sentimental items lurking in a bedroom corner? This rocker really needs to be re-upholstered, the seat is shot, but the owner didn't have the luxury of time since her house is going on the market. We were doing some other furniture in natural brushed canvas so she asked me to use it to cover up the old orange fabric on this chair also.
Honestly, it was still looking pretty bland so I grabbed a few yards of jute braid from my stash to trim it out. It won't win any design awards, but this is definitely an improvement and won't scare away the buyers.
