Updating a classic sofa

Occasionally you really do get what you pay for. This sofa was purchased twenty five years ago, and I'm sure it was quite the investment for a young family. It's sturdy frame, well made cushions with down tops, and high quality fabric saw them through the raising of two boys and two dogs. I wish I could say that I had survived those years as well as this couch. 

It's part of the family and simply had to be saved. Here's it's new look with a simple blue/green cotton slipcover. All ready for Act two.
