Drop Cloth Saves an Ugly Old Rocker

No, not like Mick Jagger. Even uglier. 

This lovely upholstery is vinyl, and the trim is metallic gold. I can't imagine what would possess someone to do this, and yet here it is. 

My customer had this beauty in her attic and thought maybe it could be salvaged on the cheap with a drop cloth.  I removed the skirt, gave it a good scrubbing and stapled a layer of dacron to the inside back. 

The pillow is done with a sharpie.
