"New" Host Chairs

Inspired by a project I did earlier, this homeowner wanted to add a little more personality to her dining room by creating a set of host chairs.

 

Using two of her dining chairs, I created padded backs by wrapping them with foam and dacron and covering it all with lining to secure it. I then made fitted covers using the same green geometric for the chair seats, fronts and piping, and showcasing an oriental chintz on the backs. 

This is a great way to use a statement fabric in the dining room without breaking the bank.They zip off for trips to the dry cleaner.
