APPLIQUÉ MONOGRAMMED SHAMS

From the moment I first laid eyes on Leontine Linens gorgeous pillow shams I knew I had to have them. I love anything monogrammed but there is something special about their hand done appliqué monograms that really spoke to me. As beautiful as they are, they are also within my skill set so, sorry Leontine, but I made 'em myself.  If you want a treat, spend a few moments on their website taking in all the lovely creations for bed, bath, home and gifts.

Leontine uses pique or matelasse for the majority of their designs. My experience with pique is that it wrinkles and rumples too much for my taste so I was worried about putting in so much effort and not loving them for the long haul.  Affordable matelasse that I liked was just too hard to find so I ended up using a mid-weight brushed cotton. It turned out to be the perfect choice.

Here are my shams. I adore them.

  1. Agree with this article, very informative. We can make our Upholstery looks like new by just changing fabric. Fabric quality and colors are also very important. I have just visited Rana Textiles Mills website and found beautiful and quality oriented fabric for upholstery over there. You can Buy Best Upholstery Fabric from here.
