HENREDON LOVESEAT

This little beauty was gifted to me by a wonderful friend. It's insanely comfortable and solid.

It's been hanging out in our garage for a looooong time waiting for my daughter to have a place for it and the day has finally come. I had already begun the makeover process when I remembered to take a ''before" shot so, no cushions, sorry. And no glamour shot of the "after" either, but it does class up our garage a little.

We were going for a more modern look so off came the skirt. Washable and neutral were her two directives so we chose a mid-weight brushed canvas in Stone, that is a very light gray and will go with anything.

Because the original back cushions were beat and rather squat  I made new taller ones that raise the loveseat's profile and update the look. To make the inserts, I used heavy napped lining for the insert covers and bought good quality extra firm bed king size bed pillows from Kohl's to use for the stuffing. The cluster fill in the bed pillows has a nice heavy, almost down-like feel that is soft but still supportive enough for furniture cushions.

This is a classic little beauty that can stay with her for the rest of her life.
